Aeroexpress is a dynamic Russian company that provides intermodal and local rail transportation services in compliance with its license from the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. Aeroexpress provides passenger rail services between Moscow and airports of the Moscow Air Cluster (Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo).
In 2016, a total of 11.6 million passengers opted for Aeroexpress services. The company holds 15.18% of the intermodal transport market. The train timetable accuracy is 99.8%.
The Aeroexpress quality management system complies with the rail passenger transportation requirements set out in the ISO 9001:2000 international standard. The company was first certified in December 2009. In November 2012, the certificate was successfully extended and will be valid until 8 December 2015. Since 2009, Aeroexpress has been a member of the International Air Rail Organization (IARO) and a participant in the Billing and Settlement Plan for Airline Transport.
Aeroexpress has become an integral part of the modern transport system, distributing passenger traffic within Moscow and the Moscow Region, and helps solve acute transport and environmental problems of the metropolis. Given the level of traffic congestion along the major highways, only rail transport is able to provide passengers with a convenient and reliable way of traveling between Moscow and its airports. The rail terminals which Aeroexpress trains depart from are conveniently located in the vicinity of stations on the Circle Line of the Moscow Metro.
Aeroexpress applies advanced management methods. The ISO 9001:2008 international certificate confirms the company’s compliance with the international standards for passenger rail transportation. Aeroexpress also obtained a certificate attesting that its corporate activities fully comply with the ISO 26000:2010 international standard, Guidance on Social Responsibility. The certificate was issued by the Russian National Association of Rail Transport Employers.
From the very beginning, Aeroexpress has offered its employees competitive wages, comfortable working conditions, social guarantees, professional development, and promotion opportunities.
Ensuring a happy and safe working environment is one of the company’s priorities, as laid out in the corporate policy and affirmed by the SA 8000 certificate issued by Social Accountability International. Based on the results of 2010, it was among the top 50 best Russian employers as selected by HeadHunter together with ECOPSY Consulting, MOLGA Consulting, and WCIOM. In 2011, Aeroexpress not only took a leading position among the best employers in the country but was also named the winner in the Reliable Employer nomination of the HR Brand of the Year Award.
